LIST OF FEES/CHARGES - February 2024

Each client is different. I pride myself on transparency in terms of costs. Please note though that estate planning is not a “one size fits all” process. The cost for estate planning will depend on its complexity and each individual’s situation. I will always agree a price with you before doing any work. All fees are subject to VAT

PROCESS

  • An initial meeting in person, on-line or on the phone. No charge for this meeting.
  • At the meeting we discuss your assets/liabilities/situation and go through what will work best for you.
  • We agree the cost for the work I will do for you. We set a time to meet again to sign the documents.
  • I invoice for half my fees. Once this is settled, I draft and prepare the documents for you.
  • All draft documents are usually with you within 1 week or less by email or post, so long as all information is available.
  • You tell me of any required changes/questions.
  • We meet to sign the documents or I send them to you for signing with instructions. I usually provide a 2nd witness for the Will signings.
  • Upon signing I will give you the invoice for the 2nd half of my fees. Any LPA disbursements are payable at this time.
  • I register the LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian. We agree whether you are storing the Wills or I am storing them for you.
